By the grace of Almighty, with the stupendous efforts of our government and with the support of the people of India, we have been able to control and overcome COVID infection in our country. The data very clearly shows the decreasing trend in the rate of infections.
With the passing of the hard times, let us not forget those days (as our usual nature is), the days where we have made drastic changes in lifestyle. In fact, this COVID era has taught us many things, and now is the time where we should all inculcate those habits which we have been following since March 2020. Be it a frequent hand wash, this will help us in combating other waterborne infectious disease like dysentery, typhoid, cholera, etc
Be it a social distancing, this will help us and reduce airborne infections like flu and the most dreaded tuberculosis. Be it work from home (WFH), we should learn to spend time with our family members, for whom we work day and night to earn the livelihood
I am sure that most of us must have prayed for the well being of humankind during COVID times and must have experienced immense satisfaction. Let’s continue to spare 5 – 10 seconds every day while performing our daily activities for the well being of mankind. Many of the men must have rendered a helping hand in the cooking and had experienced great joy with the family for the lunch/dinner. Let’s continue the same way to enjoy the happiness of our loved ones.
We have also realized that we have very minimal need. The home food was ‘THE BEST’ and must have reduced weight when we were on home-cooked meals. So taking this as a lesson, let’s stay away from junk food and keep us healthy and wealthy. Many of us have noticed the cleanliness in our surroundings during these pandemic times, so to maintain let’s all join hands to AVOID Littering because cleanliness is next to godliness. Now with the introduction of vaccines, many of us will tend to forget about the ‘COVID times’. Let’s continue with the practices that we have learned from March 2020 to December 2020.
