Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a neuro- degenerative disorder featuring gradually progressive cognitive and functional deficits as well as behavioral changes and is associated with accumulation of amyloid and tau depositions in the brain.
AD prevalence is rapidly increasing because the proportion of people 65 years and older is growing fast. India reports more than 10 million cases each year, however, the awareness associated with the same is low and the same is not considered as neurological issues.
