Ways to Get Rid of Nausea

Nausea is a sickness that is hard to describe, but all of us are quite familiar with. Often the pre-cursor to vomiting is a miserable thing to experience. It can be due to numerous reasons –  from dehydration to food poisoning, morning sickness to motion sickness, medications to acid reflux.

There are following ways to get rid of nausea:-

  • Ginger

Ginger has been used for nausea remedy in various traditional points of medicine for more than 2,000 years. Many preclinical and clinical types of research have shown ginger to possess nausea-reducing effects against different stimuli.

  • Vitamin B6

 Vitamin B6 plays a prominent role in a range of physical and psychological functions, including its ability to provide indigestion relief and reduce pregnancy nausea.

  • Peppermint Essential Oil

Peppermint oil is known for its antiemetic and antispasmodic effects on the gastric lining and colon. It has a mechanism to calm the gastrointestinal action thereby reducing the urge to vomit.

  • Chamomile tea

Chamomile tea is one of the world’s most popular herbal teas. A million cups are consumed every day by people. Tea bags of chamomile are available in the market.Traditionally chamomile has been valued as a digestive relaxant and it has been used to treat various gastrointestinal disturbances, including nausea, vomiting, indigestion, and diarrhea. It helps nausea by dispelling gas, soothing the stomach and relaxing the muscles that move food through the intestines.

  • Lemon

Lemon is known for its ability to cleanse toxins from any part of the body. Basically, you know that it serves as a natural remedy for nausea too. Lemon is an essential oil and a placebo was hand over when patients felt nauseous to inhale.
