Pregnancy is one of the most imp and the happiest time of any Women’s Life, but many Women can experience confusion, fear, stress, anxiety, depression etc. One in every 4 women face depression in their life..It is only within the last 20 years that prenatal antenatal depression has been linked with pregnancy. Prior to this postnatal depression was the only ‘depression’ linked to pregnancy. Women who seek help for prenatal (antenatal) depression are often told it’s ‘just your hormones’. This offers very few help to the mum-to-be. Women have often elaborate prenatal (antenatal) depression as rather than being a fruitful happy time full of enjoy , a nine month tunnel of doom, anxiety and despair.

Although the large no of cases of prenatal (antenatal) depression disappear with the birth of the baby, in one third of cases a mother goes on to suffer from postnatal depression. Antenatal depression also called as Prenatal depression is a form of clinical depression that can affect a woman during pregnancy, and can be a precursor to postpartum depression if not properly treated. It is estimated that 7% to 20% percent of pregnant women are affected by this condition.Pregnancy places significant strain on a woman’s body, so stress, mood swings, sadness, irritability, pain, and memory changes are to be waiting . Antenatal depression can be extremely panic for the health of the mother, and the baby, if not properly treated.
