Dr Akhil Monga has done his graduation and post graduation at India’s best medical college (AIIMS, New Delhi) followed by Neuro and vascular interventional radiology training at Kovai Medical Center and Hospitals, Coimbatore.
He has expertise in catheter directed vascular procedures for both neurological and peripheral pathologies. His expertise in the use of imaging modalities also allows him to perform minimally invasive image guided procedures for diseases that could only be treated previously by surgery. He is focussed towards an ethical patient centric medical practice.
He has successfully performed more than 2000 vascular cases. He has presented his work in many national and international conferences, published scientific papers and is a reviewer for the national interventional radiology journal.
