Project Director, Bihar Skill Development Mission; Health Manager and Facility Director, PARAS inaugurated training of the first EMT basic batch by lighting the lamp
Patna, 01 August 2017: PARAS HMRI super specialty hospital, Raja Bazaar, Patna began an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT Basic) skill development training program under the Bihar Skill Development Mission on 1st August 2017 in the hospital. The training program was inaugurated by the Project Director, Bihar Skill Development Mission, Amit Kumar; Health Manager, Nilesh; Additional Programme Director, Doordarshan, Patna, Ratna Purkayastha and Facility Director, PARAS HMRI Hospital, Dr. Talat Halim. Out of the 20 students selected for training, 3 are female students.
During his address, Project Director, Bihar Skill Development Mission, Amit Kumar said, “Training on domain Skilling is being conducted at 60 centers across the state. We are also involved in talks with various companies so that these students get recruited once they are done with their training.”
Rachna Purkayastha, Additional Programme Director, Doordarshan, Patna elucidated that if students give their heart and soul to studies, they are bound to achieve success. Hence they must focus on hard work and dedication towards learning.
Dr. Talat Halim, Facility Director, PARAS HMRI Hospital said, “We have done a lot of work in the area of training.” Highlighting the importance of the Bihar Skill Development Mission, he said, “This is a highly ambitious government project. We have paid special attention to the selection of students for this training program since it is the first ever batch of students under the program. We are confident that these students will turn out to be saviors in the society. They will be trained over a period of 4 months, after which they will take an examination and once they get through, they will be given certificates.”
