Patna, 16 August: Doctors at Paras HMRI Hospital Patna have experienced an increase in the ligament surgeries. The same is being sought after by sports players and accident victims. Recently the team of orthopedic surgeons operated upon two footballers for ligament surgery. The successful operation helped them get back to the game and play football again. According to reports, the captain of the Bihar State Football Team Mohammad Nadir Parwez was unable to play football as his knee ligament was torn. He came to Paras HMRI Hospital Patna for ligament surgery and he is now fit to play football.
Nadir plays for Raj Milk in the football league and has represented Bihar in the national championship held in 2009, 2012 and 2014. He has played both in junior and senior teams.

The second player who underwent surgery at Paras HMRI Hospital Patna was Nasa Choudhary. Choudhary who hails from Araria district of Bihar and was unable to play football for the last ten years as his knee ligament was torn.
