Patna, 17 August 2017: Paras HMRI Hospital Patna, Bihar’s first super speciality hospital received a special mention, appreciation and certification from the Airport Director of Jay Prakash Narayan International Airport located in Patna.
Shri R S Lahauria, Director Patna Airport presented the honour to Dr. Anshu Ankit, Medical Officer & Incharge at Paras Medical Room.
Dr Talat Halim, Facility Director, Paras HMRI Hospital was also present during the event. The specialised inspection room has been operational for the past 3 years at the airport and is dedicated to provide first class service to the air travellers. Under Dr Ankit’s leadership, numerous travellers and airport staff have been provided specialised care and emergency services.
Appreciating the dedication and the effort of Paras HMRI Hospital Patna, Shri RS Lahauria highlighted the exceptional effort that hospital authorities and Dr Ankit displayed when 20 passengers were evacuated from an Indigo flight on June 30, 2017. He shared, “ Dr Ankit and his team of emergency care specialists displayed exceptional grit and professional expertise to manage and treat 20 injured passengers that were hurt recently in a mishap that involved an Indigo flight. He provided personal attention, help and support to the patients in the time of need. Numerous patients have appreciated his deeds and exceptional display of compassion and professionalism. We are indeed indebted to have him in our team.”
Dr RS Lahauria also appreciated the efforts of Paras HMRI Hospital Patna for bringing about a healthcare revolution in Bihar. He shared, “Initiatives such as Paras HMRI Hospital Patna contribute a lot to the society and the public. We applaud the able guidance and contributions of Dr Dharminder Nagar, Managing Director, Paras Health for bridging the gap. Dr AA Hai, Director General Surgery requested the Airport Authority and Patna Airport Director to provide them more space so that an emergency ICU and other equipment can also be provided.
