Diet tips for Good Kidney Health

Water– Water is a good source for balancing fluid levels in the body, but one must always aim for 6-8 glasses a day depending on the body’s requirement. If you are more active, you will need extra water. Water helps flush out toxins that can lead to bacterial infection or kidney stones, along with harmful particles in the blood.

Cranberry Juice– Few  juices contain few fruit content and are loaded with sugar, so be sure to pick 100% cranberry juice organic and water base is a good option for cleaning the kidneys.

Apples– High in fiber and anti-inflammatory properties, apples help to reduce cholesterol, prevent constipation, protect against heart disease and decrease your risk of cancer.

Mushrooms If you have chronic kidney disease, you probably know that vitamin D is extremely important since it helps regulate kidney function.

Oatmeal– Oatmeal (not the sugary kind) can be a good source of iron and B6, both of which play in important role in preventing kidney stones.

Kale– Kale is a good intake  of Vitamins A and C to prevent inflammation and protect the immune system. It’s also lower in potassium than other greens and contains a large quantity  of iron.

Cauliflower– Vegetable brings lots of vitamin C to your plate, along with folate and fiber. In addition it contains compounds that help your liver neutralize toxic substances.
